Director of Tax Insight, Philip E. Harris, is an attorney and professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has written tax school materials and taught at tax schools for 31 years.

Currently, Professor Harris authors the Income Tax Workbook, used by more than 28,000 tax practitioners throughout the United States. Additionally, he writes an annual edition of Agricultural Tax Issues and lectures around the country on agricultural tax issues. Professor Harris also consults with businesses and tax practitioners.
